An amazing new year

This story is about my remarkable day and it was this new year...

All begin at 6am on saturday 31th when I woke up and prepare the thing to go to Valparaiso. After waiting for my friends we went by van (or something similar) on the freeway but when we were arriving at the first toll the van began to warm. At 11am we were still in a fuel station waiting to be able to change vehicles and follow our destiny.

When we changed the vehicles we decide take curse to Valparaiso. We arrived there and begin the party of new year. 

First we went to Las Salinas beach to take a nap and eat something. Then almost 8:30pm we take a transportation to Paseo Yugoslavo in Valparaiso city. 

The atmosphere at the end of the year was spectacular. All the people celebrating with drinks, hats,necklaces, etc. The view was amazing. I was with my friends, my boyfriend and some people I had just met but they were just and necessary to enjoy the pyrotechnic show.

It was twelve o'clock and the fireworks began. We gave each other the happy new year's hug. It was the first year I spent away from home and it will be the one I will remember throughout my life. We enjoyed all night until 12 o'clock the next day. Tired we went back to santiago but all the effort was worth it.

Audiovisual journalistic Realization

This semester it was very difficult and tired because I had a subject that was my focus... Audiovisual Journalistic Realization. We begin this subject with a teacher called Cristian Arcos. He is a radial and television journalism. He work on Chilevisión news and Futuro radio.

The class was composed for two parts. The first was the review of audiovisual works and the second was analysis of reports and television notes. Some days we had make dispatches which consisted in talk a notice in front of a camera.

One of the things that we did was despatch. At first, for me, was very difficult because a don't like the tv and I'm so shy in front of the public or a camera. But as the semester progressed I was relaxing more. 

The other part that I love of this subject was the edition of the videos that we realize. I loved cinema, the edition and make films. For this reason I enjoyment this class. 

I hope, over the next few years, work on this. Maybe not in a television show but making short movies or something related. 

More than a teacher

Well Hi!, I don't admire anyone and that is obvious because I don't like my career but I decided to talk about a teacher that I admired. His name is Juan Pablo Arancibia, a teacher that teaches Epistemology. 

I loved his class. On the one hand because I loved all about philosophy and a like so much to put my brain in march and think all kind of things. On the other side he makes his class as an exceptional, very dynamic and he let us hooked with his form to make classes. Unfortunately this very good teacher left the university and all courses that he has. 

I don't really know certainly what books or investigation has but I search a little bit and i find a lot of text of him like "La mediatización de la política",  "El lenguaje y lo politico", "Tragedia y melancolía: idea de lo trágico en la filosofiía política contemporánea". The last one, a text essays, launches in May, before that he left the university. 

They make history

Hi everyone, today I'm going to talk about my favorite band.

I don't have a really favorite band or a singer but if I choose one, I choose The Beatles. 

The Beatles is a British band born in Liverpool on 60's. This band have four members: Paul McCartney at the vocals and bass, John Lennon at the vocals and guitar, George Harrison at the vocals and guitar, and finally Ringo Starr at the drums.

As they are the most successful band in the history and according to the thirteen albums they have a assorted music, since rock until sounds with oriental style with instruments like the sitar.

I loved this band because they are history. They swing the age of 60 and make history. Is a type of music that you can listen in any moment and sing with others because everyone knows The Beatles.

ABBEY ROAD, A MYSTERY?

I chose this photograph of the year 1969 by Lain Macmillan for the album of the British band The Beatles. This image has become one of the most famous in the history of music that has been imitated by people around the world.

The title of the album honored Abbey Road in London, where the EMI recording studios were located in the songs of recordings of all their previous songs.

The interesting thing about the image is that it is surrounded by myths about the death of Paul McCartney. Some signs that do not theorize with this son:

- Paul, he appears without shoes. In the Tibetan rituals, very fashionable at that time, the dead were barefoot.

- He's the only one of the four who walks with the step changed and eyes closed.

- Paul was left-handed, but he is smoking with his right hand.

- The dress of the four, represents the scene of a funeral: John, in white, is the preacher, Ringo; In black, the undertaker; George with the shirt is the gravedigger. Needless to say, Paul is dead ...

For the most part, the license plate of the car parked on the street has the convention "28 YES" (I regret that this photo can not be appreciated), that is to say, exactly the age that Paul tends to be alive, because in English, the conditional conjunction IF It means YES, to say, IF you live you would have 28 years.

Each has his theory regarding the death of Paul's life, I think he really died and found his double to replace it. What do you think ...?

Christmas is coming !!

Even though I'm not a believer, my favorite festivity is Christmas. This festivity is celebrated on 25th of December.  

This day marks the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem, and it’s celebrated for the christians of different religions.

I repeat that I’m not a believer. For me it is a holiday for meeting with the family and the persons who I care for or we didn't see each other for a long time. I remember, when I was a child, I always waited awake for the presents because I'm an only child, and I play with my toys with my grandma. 

As a family we meet in my house, that was my grandmother’s, or we meet in my aunt’s house. For that day my mother, my, aunt, my cousins and my boyfriend come to the house where it will be celebrated and we have a dinner with a lot of delicious things to eat.

After that, my boyfriend and I are going to my mother and father in-law's house, and then we eat something and drink all the night with his brothers.

As we have a relationship we decide to take turns where we spend the day and it’s the same thing but the other way round.

I really love this festivity because it's a time to get together and we can spend time with the person that we love. I don't care about the presents, I don't care about the christmas tree or the way of the religion says that we have to celebrate, finally it's a time to love and be loved. 

I really expect for this holiday and it's coming next month.  

My Cellphone

I start telling you that i love technology, but how we use it is the problem. 

I continue with my favorite piece of technology, the iPhone or cellphone generally. 

The iPhone, in my case, I use it all the time, to view the newspapers, videos, music, and all the thing that you can imagine. 

I buy my first cellphone when I was 10 years old and for that year the cellphones are very easy and simple to use. 

Now I got a iPhone 6 plus... is very different than the first and so big for me but I got used. I love to see videos of music or something because the imagen is very clear. Also I love immediacy and I always try to be informed. 

At the school I used for homework and I would like that the teachers, or in general, it had taken a study tool. I think that the new technologies is a good options to make classes. Unfortunately in this country could't implement this option yet. 

Once I tried to be without the cellphone and it was so boring because all my book was in here. 

I Hope that in a few year we can use the new technologies for make a different education like other countries. The Technology is a big arm to destroy the world or to change it. We decide.
